Hi, I’m Talha Abid (talhaabidj) — an undergraduate BS Artificial Intelligence student at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, focused on building real, end‑to‑end AI products, not just class assignments.
I work mostly with Python, C/C++, and a bit of assembly, and I enjoy moving across the full stack: from data pipelines, LLM/agent workflows, and geospatial analysis to clean, usable frontends.
What I’ve built / shipped
-
AquaLens – Autonomous freshwater monitoring agent using Gemini multi‑agent workflows and Sentinel‑2 satellite imagery to score and explain water‑quality risk. Backend in FastAPI + PostgreSQL (PostGIS + pgvector), frontend in Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind, deployed on Vercel.
→ Won 3rd place (Gemini Award) and $2,000 prize at lablab.ai’s global “Transforming Enterprise Through AI” hackathon. -
Other projects include: Catchapon, IdeaForge (AI idea‑to‑action tool with multi‑agent + RAG), ActionPilot (AI meeting execution agent), Qubic Sentinel (blockchain monitoring), UCP Smart Odoo Portal Chrome extension, PavaLang interpreter, and more.
Competitions & hackathons

- HackerRank: Problem Solving & Python certificates; 500+ problems solved across categories.
Outside of code, I’m into sketching and graphite art (graphitegrazer on Instagram). That visual mindset helps me design systems, debug pipelines, and explain complex ideas in a more intuitive, visual way.
Most of my recent work lives in my pinned repositories — especially AquaLens and other AI‑native, full‑stack projects.
