This is to start preparing to make a KMP version of syncproviders in library for extensions. After this, the next thing to be changed/deprecated will be splitQuery from AppContextUtils, where the version accepting java.lang.URL is deprecated replaced by either ktor URL or just a raw query string. Probably ktor URL though for better validation. The new method will also be in library.
