Hey, I'm Omer 👋

Data & Analytics Engineer at Cloover · Berlin

I own Cloover's data platform end to end — from raw ingestion through dbt and BigQuery to production financial reporting. Solar financing, so the numbers have to be right. ML background, now full-time production data engineering.

Now

  • Running a layered dbt warehouse on BigQuery: raw → staging → intermediate → dimensional DWH (SCD2 history) → domain marts
  • Automating production financial reporting — Python services on Cloud Run
  • Building the data-quality layer: testing standards, source-freshness SLAs, schema-drift detection, observability

Where the work lives

Production fintech code is private — that's the deal. The public trail is at omerzaman.vercel.app; earlier ML / data-science projects live on as archived repos.
